Data Deletion Policy
Delete it yourself, in the app (fastest)
Open Ghant and go to Profile → Delete account. This removes your account and everything attached to it permanently and immediately:
- your profile — display name, avatar, and flag;
- your gameplay data — XP, level, chips, crowns, match statistics, and your in-game chip ledger;
- your social data — friend connections, friend requests, room invitations, team memberships, and the players you have blocked;
- your push notification token; and
- the account itself.
Device-local data is wiped at the same time. There is no grace period and no backup restore of a deleted account.
A few records don't disappear on this schedule: where the law or the safety of other players requires it, we keep the minimized items listed under What may remain — stripped of what identifies you — and delete them automatically once their retention period ends.
Request deletion by email (no app needed)
If you can't access the app — for example you've uninstalled it — email asifb.ny@gmail.com from the address on your account (or tell us the account email) with the subject "Delete my account." We'll verify the request and delete the same data listed above. We aim to complete verified deletions within 30 days.
What may remain
Anything we keep is minimized and de-identified — reduced to the facts we're required to hold, with your name and other identifiers removed — stored separately, and deleted automatically once its retention period ends. Specifically:
- Safety and abuse reports filed about you by other players — kept with your name removed, so we can protect other players and handle abuse, for a limited period set by law, then deleted.
- Purchase records — if you ever buy anything in Ghant, a minimized record (transaction id, item, amount, date) is kept as long as accounting, tax, and payment-dispute rules require, then deleted. The payment itself is handled by Apple or Google, who keep their own records.
- Aggregated, non-identifying data — for example overall counts that no longer identify you.
- Crash reports — if crash reporting was enabled in your build, any crash diagnostics already sent to Sentry contain no gameplay or account data and are retained only briefly by that service.
- Other records we must keep by law — if any apply, kept only as long as required, then deleted.
Playing without an account
If you played without creating an account, none of your data ever left your device. Deleting the app removes it.
