Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 30 July 2026
We want Ghant to be playable by as many people as possible, including players who use assistive technology. This statement explains what we support today, what we are still working on, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our goal

We aim for Ghant — both the app and this website — to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our target standard, and to follow the built-in accessibility frameworks on iOS and Android. This is a target we are actively working toward, not a finished state.

What Ghant supports today

Where we are partially conformant

We are candid that Ghant is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA — strong coverage on the core screens above, with work remaining. Specifically: screen-reader labelling of some secondary screens (leaderboards, league, friends, tutorial and setup flows) is still being extended; a few low-emphasis text colors need contrast fixes on lighter backgrounds; and behavior at the largest system text sizes and every touch target's size still need a full device pass. The game plays in portrait only, which is an intentional design choice for one-handed phone play.

How we're improving

Accessibility is ongoing work for us. Current priorities are finishing screen-reader labels on the remaining screens, resolving the flagged color contrast on lighter surfaces, auditing large-text and touch-target sizing on real devices, and testing a full round end-to-end with VoiceOver and TalkBack users before we describe any screen as fully conformant.

Tell us about a barrier

If you hit an accessibility barrier in Ghant, we want to hear about it — your reports directly shape what we fix next. Please email asifb.ny@gmail.com with:

We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to offer help or a workaround where we can.
